Brandie - Free Sample Freak - took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Results...

The only way for me to get my kids to drink water is by buying the flavor pouches that you add to it. Needless to say I was very excited for us to take this challenge! My kids drank up the WAT-AAH! so fast, they really enjoyed it! The bottles are very colorful and fun which was very appealing to them and they love to say WAT-AAHHHHH! LOL. They don’t even say the word “water” anymore..it’s “Mom..can I have some WAT-AHHHH!” HaHa!

Brandi - Happily Blended - took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Results...

Once the WAT-AAH! was chilled, AJ was able to pick out his own color bottle of WAT-AAH! and he chose orange. He opened up the bottle and took a sip. Hubs and I stood there watching, waiting, anticipating a response of “that’s not juice, me want juice!” and the response never came. AJ took his bottle of WAT-AAH! and went into the living room to watch his PBS Sprout while drinking none other than water…

This was a wonderful day because we finally found a product that is purely water but has a label good enough to deter a juice addict toddler from his normal habits of over drinking juice. Next we had to test this product on my daughter, who is almost 7 and yes she can read. She read the label because we refused to tell her what it was, we wanted her to try it without knowing. Miss Ki, being the lover of reading she is, read the label and found out it was purely nothing other than WATER in that WAT-AAH! bottle but she loved the wrapper and the words on the label so much that she brought it to school!!

Kelli - Three Boys and a Dog - took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Setup...

"My kids claim to hate water! I know they really don’t, but they prefer ANYTHING else: juice, kool aid, soft drinks, tea, even milk. When I was contacted about reviewing WAT-AAH! I could just imagine the fight. :-) So, when I received them, I stuck them in the fridge to get cold then called my older boys in after supper for a treat. :-)"

The Results...

"Tripp (9)Tripp drank the Energy drink. He took a big swallow, squinted his eyes in concentration and said, “Hmm… same as any other water!” Mom Says to readers “That might be true, but he drank the entire bottle :-)

Zack (7) – Zack had the Brain drink. He took a very small sip, lifted his lip and said in a very dissappointed voice, “SAME WATER!! Don’t taste like nothin’!” (yes, we need to work on grammar.) Mom said, “Oh how would you know? You only had a sip, try again.” He then took a larger swallow and exclaimed, “TASTES LIKE BRAIN JUICE!!” Mom Says to readers “He also drank the entire bottle!"

See where I am going with this? Yes, it is just water but the interesting labels got my kids drinking them! To me, that is what matters!

Angie- My Four Monkeys- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Results...

We received four bottles of WAT-AAH! along with cool stickers and tattoos that the kids loved! The drinks were a hit with Caitlyn. She is old enough to appreciate the health benefits of water. We've had discussions about this before, and after reading the labels, Caitlyn kept reminding us all to drink more WAT-AAH! She really liked the bottle design and the label design, she even refilled her bottles a few times with water and re-used them. Caitlyn thought it was really funny that the front of the label said "Drink more WA-TAAH!", but when you looked through the bottle to the backside of the label it would say something clever like "Grow STRONG-AAH!" or "Get SMART-TAAH!

John David appreciated the cool colors too! Overall, the kids enjoyed the new look of bottled water, especially Caitlyn. Even Daddy tried out some WAT-AAH!

Jeanette- Found Not Lost- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her girls.

The Results...

"First off, they knew what they were doing when they said these were designed for children because my girls were immediately attracted to the packaging. My girls liked how you can see another message on the back of the front label when you look at it from the back. They got a kick out of that one!!"

Nessa- Ramblings of a Texas Housewife- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her kids.

The Set Up...

When I got the 4 bottles of WAT-AAH! in the mail, my kids would not leave the package alone. They were attracted to the bold colored packaging. So I chilled the WAT-AAH! and let them choose which bottle each wanted. I was ready for the comments about no flavor, it is not sweet, add something to it.

The Results...

"It's so refreshing" and "Now that cools me off" Yeah, my kids are all into the grown up sayings.

But later I expected for them to come down from it's new to it's just water. NO! Dinner and they wanted the WAT-AAH! instead of tea we were having. And the next day the let down of "what there is no more WAT-AAH! in the fridge?" Well, I am glad to know they were happy drinking water than the sugar and preservatives in so many other kid friendly drinks!!

Kristen- Goodie Goodie Gumdrops- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her family.

The Results...

.

The first things I noticed upon opening the box were the design and logo. The bottles are sleek with clean lines, easy for a little one to hold. The bright, neon colors and "big mouth" logo are simple yet appealing. They literally scream kid-friendly. As soon as I opened one of the bottles from the box to sample, my curious son came right over to snatch it!

I took the remaining bottles of WAT-AAH! on our trip to the beach so I could try them out with my 3-year old niece and 10-year old nephew.

My niece, who loves orange juice so much that my sister-in-law has to dilute it with water, went straight for the WAT-AAH! Body, intrigued by the neon pink label. She drank the entire bottle while we were playing in the sand.

My 10-year old nephew - who plays football and drinks Gatorade almost daily - was wise enough to know it was plain water but he admitted the concept and name were pretty cool. He drank the bottle of WAT-AAH! Bones while we were out and about with nary a complaint!

Deb- Just a Mom's Take on Things...- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her girls. She was interested to see for herself which beverages my girls preferred when the choice was left completely up to them.

The Set Up...

"It didn’t take but a few seconds before they were begging and pleading to be able to drink some. And I actually said no – I wanted to wait a little bit until the novelty wore off and they could make that choice without the initial excitement playing into it.  So I stuck them in the refrigerator for a few days."

The Results...

So fast-forward a few days and after their afternoon snack, I let the girls pick what they wanted to drink. All three of them immediately chose their bottles of WAT-AAH! and eagerly started drinking!

They didn’t finish the bottles in that first sitting, which didn’t surprise me. What’s nice about the re-closable bottles is that they could then take them outside or stick them in their bike bags to take around the block to stay hydrated while riding their bikes. And, considering that a lot of the draw is the actual bottle itself, I simply have saved the bottles and re-filled them with purified water from our refrigerator as needed. Those bottles have even accompanied us to the beach – where my 6-year-old found that the empty bottles are helpful when needing a way to transport shells home!

Ana- Bonggamom Finds- Looking for ways to "wean" her kids off the sweet stuff, she decided to take The WAT-AAH! Challenge!

The Results...

"From the first moment they saw our sample WAT-AAH! bottles, the kids were fighting to drink them. With those bright colors and bold designs, the bottles are certainly eye-candy for kids! Mine thought the cartoon of the kid with his mouth open was absolutely hilarious. So it's not surprising that even though the fridge was stocked with juice and chocolate milk, they all asked for the WAT-AAH!

WAT-AAH! is a great way to get your kids drinking more water. It's healthy and refreshing..... and kids find it hard to resist that ultra-cool bottle design!"

Erin- The Mom Buzz- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge her kids.

The Results...

"My sons did love the WAT-AAH!, when given that option compared to milk. I stuck a straw in it too, which made it uber-special for them. And it made me feel good that they were well hydrated this hot, hot summer. Plus, by encouraging them to drink water!

I know at Play Dates many moms bring juice boxes. So convenient - but so full of sugar. I would love to load a cooler with these instead!!

Michelle- Stuttering Shell- Took The WAT-AAH! Challenge with her two kids.

The Setup...

We put our bottles of WAT-AAH! in the fridge & let the kids "have at it." We had juice boxes, milk, orange juice, sweet tea & WAT-AAH! stashed in the fridge and every time the kids went in the fridge they chose the WAT-AAH! over anything else!

The Results...

"At dinner, they would both exclaim they wanted WAT-AAH! and sometimes small arguments ensued because they both wanted the same bottle! Who knew that kids would actually fight over something good for them?!

I knew that the product would be a hit with my two children -- I didn't realize that it would be that big of a hit, though. They absolutely enjoyed drinking WAT-AAH!... What I do know is that I am one happy mom because time & time again my children chose water over the sugary drinks. And, even to this day {because we are out of WAT-AAH!} they are still choosing water as their preferred drink of choice!"
